My husband and I recently decided to take on the task of floor sanding. Our house has recently become our project and this included all kinds of home improvement activities. The house has been in my husband’s family for over 50 years and unfortunately, wear and tear does occur. Especially considering the hardwood floors are beautiful, but rather high maintenance. We looked at various options of floor maintenance including doing it ourselves. After careful consideration, we decided however that it would be less time consuming and more cost efficient to hire an outside contractor to do it for us. The process did not take long at all and we were utterly amazed when we saw the results after it was all done. It was as if the elegance and colour of the wood had been brought back to life, definitely worth the effort and money spent. All we have to do now is make sure that we maintain the condition of the floors and avoid those scratches and stains.
