People have two main choices when it comes to getting cell phone service. They can choose either pre-paid services or they can sign a contract for the service. There are several differences between the two and a person should take their time to compare prepaid mobile services with contract mobile services.
When a person gets prepaid services they get all of their minutes upfront. When the minutes run out they have to buy more minutes. In a contract service if a person runs out of minutes they are charged for anything extra they use. This can be substantial at times. The contract phone does offer a wider variety of phones and will generally give a person a phone at a discount for signing the contract where a prepaid phone has to be paid for, but if the contract phone breaks a person will have to pay for a new one too. Prepaid mobile service is usually cheaper and if a person is happy with the service there is no reason not to consider one.
